Sunday 11th October 2020

Ic report on the week

- The monthly Poetry meeting was well wrangled by Bertel – it’s now required to sign up ahead of time.
- The ghost walk from the Golden Keg was entertaining, this week focusing on Old Town, and attracted a big crowd.
- Ava’s event – date tbc. A couple of meetings ago, Ava got a message via a stone – sent by a lady who wished to meet with us. The lady turned out to be a Void elf who showed us an item which contained a snapping undead maw which is a powerful object kept in a special box to contain the magic. This item had been discovered in a cache along with a saronite blade of some power – it is dangerous to look at - on an expedition to Dragonblight in Northrend. However, someone who was prepared to murder for it stole the blade. A Farstrider Captain known to the void elf lady led a squad to look for the thief and the blade, but they have not been heard from in some time now, and the lady has hired Starlight to investigate as she wants a team that is experienced in resisting the allure of powerful magic.

Upcoming events
- The pre-expansion patch comes this week on 14 October, and the guild will be treating events as ic. Remember to back up your TRP profile as these have been known to be wiped. We will try to keep it low on spoilers so that people get a chance to experience it for themselves, but feel free to RP in guild chat as well around the topics and issues it will raise.
- Unfriendly bedfellows Part 3, 17 October – sign up on the forum – non SL characters welcome. This will take account of the patch events. Recently we were charged with being off-the-record "spy-catchers", and information gained led to Chit, Loki and others finding a "Bone collector" and trading with him for a bone needle that can point the way to an object, a hidden weapon sought by the Banshee queen. Experiments reveal that depending which map you put it on, it points either to the one "feeding" it, or to another location. On the 17th we will look closely at the location it indicates. This event will take place after the patch and will focus on the heady thrills and high cost of magic. As we have been told it was hidden from the Banshee queen, it is natural to expect magical defences; we will need mages on that job, along with others. Please sign up here viewtopic.php?f=89&t=1564&start=10&sid= ... 1199323134, non SL characters welcome.
- Shienlao’s ooc adventures – 23 October tbc - Shienlao will aim to get a group together to do the content in the pre-patch (the actual event for it doesn't happen until the 2nd week of pre-patch). The aims being 1. To have a good time and some good craic and 2. For anyone who hasn't been doing Visions of Nya'lotha content, it might be a good way to help gear up in preparation for Shadowlands.
- On the 24 October we are planning to have a guild event, focused on impact of the patch and some world building (this won’t be fight focused). Keep the date free!
- Vandros' storyline - our part is on 28 October- As there is the new Shadowlands expansion coming, there will be some pre-events, both arranged by Blizzard and by roleplayers. Vandros is the "mastermind" of one of these pre-patch related campaigns, collecting a few guilds to take part in a shared storyline. One of the guilds that is invited is Starlight. The storyline derives from the pre-expansion events and game impact and will give us a chance to interact cooperatively with other guilds. Without spoiling anything, we have a Discord server for planning the storyline, with good input from all the guilds We've also planned for the challenge of having many RPers taking part in the same event(s). So we are doing things like having multiple GMs at some of them, so it becomes natural to spread out in smaller groups, while still having a GM there to drive the story/plot and world building. This helps rp across guilds without being swamped in a wall of text. The first Vandros event is scheduled during the patch week, and Starlight is scheduled to join in Stormwind on the 28th.
- Movie night is 27 October, and is suitably horror themed! Movie trailers will be up later tonight, remember you have 2 votes to identify your preferred choices.

Monday 19 October 2020

IC update on the week

- Unfriendly Bedfellows Part 3 - A group followed the direction of the bone needle to the Isle of Thunder before moving in. Injured Pandaren at the gates warning of undead that had moved inside a day or two earlier. Inside we met a magical presence and several traps. Unfortunately one undead got past our vigilance, and we lost one of our group. The one Barathean was there to protect... The undead was exterminated, and we moved on to find a map that moved to show Icecrown, once the box Morrigan was carrying reacted to it. We took the map with us, and left the place. It seems that the weapon has to do with Icecrown. A scouting trip is planned to Icecrown 24 October.
- Southern Gilneas Fair - those who went saw a LOT of Tauren...orcs...trolls... Wilsby won a raffle, Philias ate too much berry pie and lost his pouch to a pickpocket, and everyone got soaked to the bone due to the 'unfortunate' weather.

OOC information
- New Starlight Contest - deadline 10 pm 2 November - so that winners can receive their prize before the event. We've been gifted by Blizzard a Collectors' Edition of Shadowland, plus a gift envelope containing game time a poster and hologram cards - and we are adding 50,000 gold to provide 3 prizes for a new Starlight contest. Winners will be chosen at random from everyone who enters the competition! Find the details here:

Upcoming events
- March of the Damned - cross-guild event stream - tba - we are part of an initiative set up by Vandros - with The Eternal Leaf, Aldorey Family, Silver Eclipse and Undying Covenant (a new guild but one with many members familiar to Starlighters). We will drive events based on the pre-patch and Shadowlands content together. A Discord server has been set up to share communication and organise rp. We look forward to working with our new allies! More information soon.
- Tuesday movies Halloween Edition, 20.05 27 October. Use your two votes to choose which movie we'll be watching! For details of the movies and the poll. (Sign in to take the poll.)

- Unfriendly Bedfellows 4 Scouting Icecrown - 20.00 24 October - scouting expedition, light and not too long. (Sign up on the calendar.)
- Grand Hallows End Ball 20.00 24 October - if you are not on the scouting expedition, Philias and Starlight have been invited to the Ball (see server rp).
- Petite Blue Sprite: Where in the world is Magmabrew? 20.00 26 October The next event in this stream pitting our wits against opponent role-player NPCs as we try to find the lost ship and her crew!
- Social Wednesdays - everyone's invited to think of gentle or fun events during the week (Wednesday not obligatory) - as a counterpoint to what is likely to be a dark expansion.

Server rp - see the Discord event-planning thread - this week includes a grand Hallow's End ball on 24 October if you are not scouting in Icecrown...

Sunday 25th October 2020

IC update on the week
- Scouting trip to Ice Crown
- Following our previous adventures (Unfriendly Bedfellows) a small party of us followed the bone needle's direction to something the Banshee Queen was seeking. It appears we were too late. The sky had broken open, as if a mighty force had punched upwards, shattering the sky up into a hole. From what we saw, there were Argent holding their positions, but also a different kind of dead may have started walking. This is a serious development and all should be alert.
- Cabbage Ron and the City of Stormwind - Anadelonbrin reports that this was very good and well acted, written in rhyme and very witty, lasting 30 minutes. Highly recommended if you get the chance to see it or a second episode. Written and directed by Eugene Ross, who has also written 'Notes of a City Boy'.
- The Haunted Ballroom - food and drinks, decorations, lots of costumes, and an eating and a costume competition. Plan is to hold it again next year.
- Ava shared with the guild that she is leaving Starlight - to go wherever the road takes her. She will be missed - but says it will not be the last we see of her. She hopes to meet us around the streets.

OOC information
- Loki's character playlist
- everyone else picks songs for your character - will go up on the forum shortly.
- SL contest - a week and a day to go! viewtopic.php?f=89&t=1574&sid=b2ae1028b ... 581e48f83b
- Officers for role play - to support the multiple strands of rp that we engage in, we are going to have 3 officers nurturing 3 strands of rp - Light focused rp; Social rp; Dark rp. We hope you'll approach us with ideas and wishes, so we can make sure that everyone in SL gets rp they find fulfilling, and can collaborate on events. The idea is not for officers to be in charge of running events, but to facilitate arranging these and ensure people's needs and wishes are met. Initially Anadelonbrin will be in charge of "Light", Syrawenn will be in charge of Social, Tikal will be in charge of Dark (the roles may rotate). We plan to have a forum post up shortly.
- Changes to guild meeting - we're working on a way to shorten the reporting section of guild meetings to make them snappier and also so that if you've opted out of an event because you dislike that kind of rp, you don't have to listen to a full report in the guild meeting. We'll start with the new approach shortly.
- Good practice writings in the forum - officers are working on making good practice writings more accessible, both to the Explorer who wants to get up to speed fast, and to those who want to be stretched in their thinking. Guild members' wishes on this have been heard and are being acted on!

Upcoming events
- 26 Oct Strangers in the Night followup - Where in the world is Magmabrew? A sequel to the ongoing mystery of the disappearance of the Blue Petite Sprite ship, carrying important letters from Stormwind Council. The captain of this ship is expected in Booty Bay on Monday. Come with no tabards and prepared for any trouble as Booty Bay can be a tinderkeg for trouble. (This will be another of the events guest DM'd and where NPCs are played live by players and anything could happen... Highly recommended!)
- 27 Oct Tuesday movie night - 1978 Halloween - this will be especially informative with titbits of information from Nomine's film school years!
- 29 Oct Taking supplies to Westfall. Ava is running a job and our help is needed. We need to make sure the supplies end up in the right hands. We may need to deal with unsavoury elements.
- 1 Nov Syra's and Tiks' guessing game where you have to figure out what you are holding without seeing it - it will be short and sweet!
- Eritis's ooc games night based on Jackbox games - will be announced soon!

Server rp - on 30th there will be both the Traders Initiative Halloween Sale, and the Ghost Walk Halloween Special.

Monday 2 November

Ic update on the week

Our guild meeting was interrupted by 4 armed and mounted undead able to ride on water, who observed us from afar. No action was taken but people are warned to go with caution. Since there are reports of strange undead happenings, all are advised to walk cautiously and in pairs or groups.

- Strangers in the Night - further to our quest to find out what happened to the Blue Petite Sprite ship and the letters it carried - we tracked down the former captain who was docked at Booty Bay with the Sprite, renamed. He tried to escape, and an attempt was made on his life by an assassin from which Shienlao was able to save him - and Lylieth who was also poisoned. Having convinced Captain Magmabrew we meant him no harm, we were able to find out that he'd been paid to delay the passage of the Sprite and eventually he ended up having command. We were able to secure the contract he made with his client, and a rather large logbook from the ship which is yet to be examined - this should provide a direction for further investigation.
- Supplies to Westfall - A party of us lead by Ava took a yak laden with supplies to Westfall to feed and cloth people facing starvation in Westfall. Not having paid tax on the supplies, and having one or two items of dubious provenance made passing the various guard stations slightly tricky. We were attack by 20 bandits who wanted to rob us, and Chit took a slingshot to the head and Morrigan an arrow in the thigh - but we were victorious in defeating them. When we arrived at Moonbrook we were in danger of being mobbed by a hungry crowd. Lady Violet managed to conjure a feast which distracted and eased them, while we tried to locate leaders to whom we could distribute the supplies. Unfortunately, the soldiers we delivered the goods to found us very suspicious so they ended up arresting us an sending us to the top brass at Sentinel Hill where Nomine and Lady Vi pulled strings to get us released.
- Blind Fun - Syrawenn and Tikal ran a gathering where blindfolded people were given objects and had to ask questions to guess what they were. Some were gross and insecty and some were 'normal'... This was a fast and fun session, lasting about an hour ((and offered plenty of opportunities to rp and 'lift' your partner to be successful in guessing correctly!)).

OOC Information
- Winners of the Encounter with the Dead competition - prizes allocated by random dice roll between all entrants to the competition.
1. Collectors Edition of Shadowlands provided by Blizzard won by Baratheon!
2. Hologram cards and gametime provided by Blizzard won by Aldus!
3. 50K gold - won by Anomen!
- Lylieth's Starlight Roulette - see the forum. Watch this thread for people's ideas for a soundtrack for Starlight characters!

Upcoming events

- Tuesday movie madness - The Grand Budapest Hotel 20.05 Tues 3 Nov - specially chosen by Nomine, this is a movie that celebrates the beauty of movie making, as in every frame being considered and full of meaning. One of Wes Andersons finest movies, with amazing color work, and beautiful visuals. Download from the Discord Tuesday Movie channel.
- Eritis short social - Weds 4 Nov - This will be the next short fun social, with the details kept firmly under Eritis hat!
- A Howl for those we have lost - Sat 28 Nov - We will be soon having a howl to remember those we have lost, passed away through the veil. Its when we gather to share stories about those we have lost, to keep their memories alive. This will be a chance to remember our old guildmate Mats Steen and his characters Ibelin and Jerome, close to the anniversary of his death.

Monday 9 November 2020

OOC information
- On a very out of the game note. We are now in the 2nd month of Darkness for much of europe, with winter slowly creeping up on us. 2020 has been by all accounts a hard year, personally, culturally and the restrictions due to Covid has surely left a mark, even on those (like myself - Kai) that did not expect it would. Starlight is a warm, supportive community, and in times like this - we need that more than ever. A bit of kindness and recognition goes a long way in the November darkness. Even if it is not always commented upon, when such kindness and recognition is given - know that it is both seen and appreciated.
- Be aware that there is server rp 7-14 November, that is a prelude to what is to come. Dealing with sickness of civilians, ghoul attacks, dark rituals in the city and more. Your character may have heard about: Rumours about dark rituals, guards taking out ghouls and possibly a necromancer, the cathedral having started to fill with sick and dying. It is now spreading to influence more of the city as a whole, with panic starting to be on the rise. So far the conflict is small-scale, with the guards and good forces being in control and tackling the challenges. These Stormwind events are going to escalate gradually. How much you know about this is up to you, but those with official roles or titles would likely know more than others. A cure was found for the Wrath of the Lich King plague, but it's likely that this cure is no longer effective, or not as effective.

Update on the week
- Violet reports on Stormwind: The rumours are true. The conflicts start to rise in number. The cathedral fills up with the sick and those beyond saving. The military is preparing for the worst, they even prepare the new recruits - yet asking questions is not allowed. Things are dire. And as well many that cause a serious danger to the city of turmoil which - already - is in turmoil. We are at the brink of a mass panic and I would rather not imagine what will happen once the plunderers come storming the mansions. Discussion: We need to secure supplies for ourselves and the Kaldorei we have brought to the mansion. Phil's children are in Northrend Grizzly Hills, Sienna is with Anomen near Westguard Keep. Devvy is in Lady Violet's safe house in Dalaran - this heavily protected haven is open to all Starlighters. Annie is still to be located and taken to a safe place.
Anadelonbrin reports on the sickness: The cause of the disease originated in parasites, either contracted through being stung by insects or bitten by ghouls. One contracted it from being grabbed by someone who was about to die and undie. The parasites have hopefully all been removed from the sick people at the mansion by the Plague Doctor. He put a parasite inside a rat which immediately showed symptoms of the sickness - and he carried the rate away with him for research. The doctor had a medicine that can ease the symptoms, but only had two bottles and the ingredients are expensive and hard to find. Niamh, the Kaldorei healer has the recipe – and we can help by collecting ingredients.
- March of the Damned update - our rp with 3 other guilds - The Eternal Leaf, Silver Eclipse and The Undying Covenant. We have a shared Discord server - join it here https://discord.gg/sARDBED4 - and announce yourself as Starlight when you join (helpfully the guilds are colour-coded). Yesterday we had some great social rp with Shienlao setting up a small pub onsite, Chit bringing steamy romance novels, Undying Covenant turning up with a wagon of supplies and parrot! and more seriously a Plague Doctor providing expertise on the nature of the sickness ravaging Kalimdor and members of The Eternal Leaf. This was to help people get to know each other before we turn up the heat and start running events. One comment on the sickness - it is up to you if your character falls sick - which seems to happen through ghoul bites or insect bites, the insects apparently under the control of some entity.
In case anyone asks, the (Northshire Abbey) mansion belonged to the late Lord Baurles K. Wishock; due to an inheritance dispute, the manision is rarely used. In Stormwind as a whole, there have been other cases of sickness, fights between the guards and the sick, cultists. So it looks like the sickness has travelled before our group arrived at the mansion.

Upcoming events
Northshire Abbey (ic a mansion on the outskirts of SW) will be an rp hub over the rest of the week for the guilds. There will be many chances to interact over the next week and maybe join their events - check out the Discord server.

11 Nov Patch hits with official Blizzard events

11 Nov 10th annual Gnomumental Gnomorial event - a memorial to those lost from Gnomeregan.

11 Nov 2000 MotD Starlight Scouting Event in Westfall 2000 - looking for the undead riders who observed Starlight's last guild meeting - icly you will meet Undying Covenant members there.

11 Nov 2000 Scourge NPCs needed for event 2000 - talk to Nomine.

13 Nov - social rp between the guilds in Northshire Abbey.

15 Nov 2000 - MotD action based event relating to the Horsemen.

16 Nov - the next guild meeting will be in Shienlao's new Brewery! Where we can sample the beers while listening to important Matters of State.

Monday 16 November 2020

Warning of danger! Things are getting worse in not only Stormwind, but also the surrounding countryside. There are food shortages, and attacks in Elwynn Forest, Redridge, Duskwood, Westfall as well as Stormwind itself. The guard are stretched thin and the land is downright dangerous, and likely to become worse before it improves. What this means for us, is that we need everyone to be careful. Protect each other, stand together, strength in unity. I do not think we can remain in the mansion for much longer, and there is no other welcome place in Stormwind, not for all of us despite Lady Violet's offer, since we have another thirty or so from the Kaldorei and the merchants. Means of transport like the Ironforge Tram are being restricted, if not outright shut down.

Update on the week

- March of the Damned events this week. At the mansion, where we are holding fort with the Kaldorei we met in Westfall as they had escaped Kalimdor where sickness was spreading. Some of them were infected by a disease that was getting worse. Plague Doctor consultation - revealed this sickness seemed to be caused by a parasite directed by some agent. An insect bites and then disappears into the body. As the parasite was removed, healers could work on them and the infected slowly improved. As this happened, Stormwind started suffering more and more attacks by death-cultists, ghouls and even the dead rising from the graveyard.
- Scouting party to Westfall - due to the scourge riders we saw at a guildmeeting two weeks ago, we took part in a scouting expedition to Westfall. That scouting party ended up in a fight with scourge riders. Two of them were killed, the third escaped. They attacked with insects but fortunately only a single elf was reinfected. Scourge attack on the mansion - last Friday, as there was friendly sparring going on at the mansion with people trying to raise their spirits, there was an scourge incursion. The scourge tried to kill or infect those in the mansion. One of the scourge was captured and interrogated.
- Intercepting the messengers - we learned from interrogation that the captured scourge was supposed to report to a messenger in Redridge. At the same time, we learned that there was another messenger that would appear in Stranglethorn vale, near Zul Gurub. Last night we tried to intercept the messengers. We didn't have to wait long for our target to appear... so we began the chase through the jungle to the lake as we worked together to try to slow him down, injure or dismount him. Tikal and Ana had done some really harsh strikes and attacks on the rider and its horse... both of them submerged in the water. The scourge made it to shore and froze the water, trapping Eritis and Ana. Chit and Nomine broke the ice to free them. Meanwhile Ana and Tikal had already gotten the messenger and retrieved the message in a bone case with no apparent opening. The elves from Kalimdor had been pursuing the messenger from Redridge and happened on another. These other 2 riders headed for our location and joined together to fight the whole group, gaining in power from proximity. The one we had brought down got back up, even after being shot in the head and having an arm torn off. Even when we out numbered them, there was almost no chance of victory.
The bone case is roughly the same length as a man's thigh bone, and the width of a human wrist
The riders are apparently only messengers for Scourge Lord puppet masters.

- Czele held a tea party in the Portrait Room in Dalaran (where several Starlighters are resting safe in Violet's mansion). A chance for people to rest from chasing ghouls and sit back an breath and ask after each other. It was needed.

Upcoming events

The March of the Damned events:
Wednesday 18 Nov - Escape from Stormwind Wednesday 18 Nov
Friday 20 Nov - Followup to the Escape
Sunday 22 Nov - Campaign Finale - guildmeeting has been moved to Monday.

Saturday 28 Nov - A Howl for the Lost - a Starlight tradition to remember the dead; we will of course talk about Ibelin/Jerome ICily in memory of his player Mats Steen, to keep those memories/character stories alive. This is also a chance for your character to share stories about those your character has lost or wishes to remember.

OOC information

- Next guildmeeting is Monday 23 November in Jade Forest, Pandaria - the small island behind the Jade Temple to coincide with:
- The opening of Shienlao's brewery after the guild meeting - Starlight are invited to be the first to sample these beers, after the brewery hosts the guild meeting. Shienlao's grandmother is willing to offer shelter to any Starlighters who need to stay over, or require a refuge.
- The March of the Damned campaign will end this Sunday 26 Nov. We hope to continue RPing with some, if not all the guilds later, and hope you want to do that as well. What this means in practical terms are the following. There are a few more events lined up for this week, and some plot threads we may continue with (and at a more comfortable pace) after Sunday. ICily, Stormwind will become increasingly locked up and it is very dangerous to move around outside of the city on your own. This Wednesday, we are "escaping" from Stormwind, with follow up on Friday and Sunday. The escape is planned to happen at different locations, so that not everybody has to be in one large (and spammy) group. SL will host the escape that takes part using the Stormwind-Ironforge tramline. So ICily, please join us in stressing that Stormwind is locked up and it's not safe out there, then on Wednesday we get a resolution to that part.

Monday 23 November

Update on the week

March of the Damned events & finale:
- On Wednesday, Starlight escaped from the ghouls infesting Stormwind, via the tram tunnel to Ironforge. We had battles along the way, and had to talk our way into Ironforge where the guards wanted us to return to Stormwind as they have placed a quarantine on the city. Luckily Lylieth was able to use her dwarvish heritage and connections to allow us through, as we agreed to undergo medical inspection by two of their officials - which happily we passed.
- On Friday, Starlight searched for survivors and refugees. We met up with The Eternal Leaf and Silver Eclipse in the Badlands, along with Cruixis and his supply team; all had taken different routes out of Stormwind. We had found some refugees along the way and found them sanctuary at Dustwind Dig. Our healers played a role in healing those broken by the battles and especially those who had travelled from Stormwind in a Necropolis and took gliders down to the ground with varying degrees of success.
- On Sunday, we travelled together from the Badlands to Menethil, where we said our farewells. Kaitodan and the Silver Eclipse sailed for Theramore, to return to their base in the Stonetalon Mountains. Grandmaster Vandos and The Eternal Leaf stayed in the Eastern Kingdoms to follow up on various clues. Cruixis crew (many of the Darkeye Conclave) returned to Duskwood, and Starlight took ship to Pandaria, to collect ourselves at the hospitality of Shienlao's grandmother, and to sample the new brews at her brewery.
- Discussion of the Darkeye Conclave members working for Cruixis as a supply team/guards: Garrett West is not to be trusted based on past history with Starlight. The others are to be treated with caution; please pass any intel to the officers. Their home base is in Duskwood. So far we have been working with them, but we should make this a wary alliance.
- Saturday ooc ghoul run - Led by Lylieth, Starlight formed a group of ghouls and attacked various locations, starting with Goldshire. Trying to set up spawn points and try to give the people there a good fight. After being defeated. we did the same in Stormwind, found out that Genn couldn't be attacked and Turalyon is a machine... At Lakeshire we found the town had already been attacked, but we had an experience where we gave people a battle, our moral broke and we eventually left the field in defeat, to much cheering from the defenders. This whole adventure has brought some inspiration for event planning! It was all great fun! And role players had fun and learned caution - like...don't walk down a road on a horse alone...

Upcoming events

- Vote now for 1 December, Tuesday Movie Madness - you have two votes, and the details of the films to pick from are up under Events. viewtopic.php?f=89&t=1505&sid=7fb4150a1 ... t=30#p9719
- 24 November - Shadowlands Expansion! Expect bugs, and that people will be questing/exploring content over the next few weeks. Invite others along for the ride! Try not to give spoilers!
- 28 November - The Howl for the Departed including Mats Steen.
OOC briefing on The Howl
This will be held at Stoen's Islands, just off the coast of Northern Stranglethorn a short way down the coast from the Westfall Lighthouse. The Howl is a ritual that started with the passing of Ibelin/Jerome`s player Mats Steen. And it is a chance for characters and players to tell stories about characters that have passed on, keeping their memory alive. The first time we arranged it, Mats' father joined to listen to both IC and OOC stories. It was very important to the family, as well as us to share stories about somebody we cared for. This year, as they are working on the documentary, Mats' father (and family viewing with him) will join once more, and the documentary film maker will try to capture the family and their reactions. So a few practical bits of information. We both want to keep a tradition that is important to us, to Starlight alive, as well as giving them a moment. How we do that, is by splitting the event in half. All who wish to specifically speak about Ibelin/Jerome will do their part first while the family and 2 filming NPCs are present, The family as well as the 2 filming NPCs will then be asked to depart, allowing us to continue with stories about your own character's mourned friends.
IC briefing on The Howl
For those new to Starlight, this is an old tradition where we keep the memories of those we loved and lost alive. Or well, in some case hated. It is not about glorifying anyone, it is about welcoming the idea that a person dies twice, first when their body dies and the second time when the last one remembering them dies. We cast that second time, as far into the future as we can through sharing stories and remembrances. And after each story is told, we join and howl in their memory. We all have people we have lost, from Ibelin to others. Tell their stories, and let them be remembered.
From a purely practical point of view - we suggest that you write your text in advance, so things run quickly and smoothly - regardless of who your character will howl for.
