Day 12

How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times?

Pol does try to stay on top of roughly what technology is around and is open and happy to try and learn how to use some of the gadgets about - especially if they are of some use to him. For example Pol uses these boxes that can keep food cold or freeze them. Life changing for him and his food. He roughly knows how to keep it working - he just puts these battery core things in and it works. How does it actually create cold air and ice? He doesn't know. He tends to steer away from weapons and vehicles but gadgets for the home and farm are great.

It wasn't long after arriving in Stormwind he saw some of the Gnomish technology and was greatly intrigued as to what it was and how it worked. When he did get around to learning about it he realised quickly that it was far more complicated than simple mechanisms so he took a step back there but he was still happy to try and learn how to use some of the gadgets.

For Pol engineers, especially Gnomish ones, have made lives easier for many without the use of arcane. He somewhat looks to Gnomes and sees them to be smart and great at finding solutions to some problems. Especially if the problem might need a gadget. So if he finds himself in need of some tech he will happily head to an engineer and see what they can come up with to help.

Day 13

What does your character’s bed look like when they wake up?

Pol's bed is one of those rotund Pandaren beds that sort of cups him in. It helps as he does shuffle about a little in his sleep, maybe he throws out a little kick or two and rolls onto his sides. His blanket may end up turning 90° or more somehow or is just sort of kicked off the bed on a warm night. Some of his pillows may have shifted down the bed or end up hanging off the edge. It's not too messy but he clearly is a slightly active sleeper. If Tomu is on Pol's bed instead of his own he clearly is aware in his sleep as his bed will be slightly neater in the morning.

Day 14

How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?

Pol is better with cold weather in general. Really cold weather and snow is fine too. He has his fat, fur and can always put on extra layers. He is sort of used to snow and wind from all of his time spent in Kun-Lai. Tomu also really favours his colder temperatures.

When it comes to hot weather it depends. Hot temperatures can tire him out a little. If he is out adventuring with all of his fur and armour, especially if Tomu is with him, he is likely to stay someplace where he can drink, eat or nap until the sun has retreated; Or if it begins to rain or cloud up and becomes cooler.

Sometimes days at his home can be a little humid, and it does have it's hot days too, but at least he has his ice cold drinks and shade.

Day 15

Is your character an early bird or a night owl?

He is definitely more of a night owl. He prefers to be up later on in the day, preferring some of the more still energy at night, but he can manage to get up early if needed especially if there is something going on or somewhere to be. He really doesn't like having to get up before or around the same time as the sun.

Day 16

The three most important people in Pol's life.

Tomu. Not only is he cute but he is a great travelling companion. Best friends in a way.

His cousin. He looks after the farm most of the time but he is always a welcoming face when Pol is coming back from an adventure.

Hard to pick from his family back home on the isle. He may not see them much but his Maw-Maw, Paw-Paw and brother are still important to him.

Day 17

What does Pol's desk/workspace look like?

In general if he would say he tries to keep things neat-ish.

When he is cooking or drawing things will get a little messy but he does try to keep on top of it. For his kitchen area he has his cooking equipment hung up and his ingredients, like jars of spices and bottles sauces, on little racks and shelves. It's when he is actually cooking that some things can get a little messy, especially with flour or powders, but he does clean up after himself. He does draw or paint on occasion and that little creative area is a little more unorganised and he does bother to put some of the resources away. There is also the shed he shares with his cousin on the farm, usually where they repair or build things, and that is probably the messiest workspace but even then it is still somewhat tidy.

Day 18

Is your character a good cook? What’s their favourite recipe?

Pol is a chef by nature and he has a love for food. He enjoys the process and the results of his cooking. He really really enjoys the food he makes and it seems that almost everyone else finds what he makes to be tasty too which has made him quite confident in thinking he is a pretty good cook. He knows he isn't a master or professional chef but he knows he is really good.

When it comes to his favourite recipe that may be a hard a choice indeed since there are so many tasty recipes to choose from. Though for Pol his favourite would be his special recipe chilli bean stew, and sometimes stir fry, dishes. They are recipe not only his maw-maw would cook but even his great grand maw-maw would make. Most of the time it's pretty quick to make and can just be put into a clay pot to finish cooking. Tasty, spicy and easy. When he first left the isle he packed with him a few jars of the sauce and some spices, enough to last him a few months, just so he could bring that little flavour of home with him and boost any food he made along his adventures.

Day 19

What’s your character’s preferred means of travel?

Pol likes to travel on his yak, Gimao most of the time. At least when it comes to going around a town or adventuring since Gimao can carry a lot of supplies including a little portable cold box. He does also like to travel on his cloud serpent, Sheng. A lot faster and can get to all sorts of places but he cannot carry no where near as much supplies.

His least favourite mode of transport is portals. Almost all of them seem to give him some level of portal sickness, motion sickness and some pretty bad ear popping.

Day 20

Does your character have any irrational fears?

He finds it hard to find what could be an irrational fear outside of his home isle when it has been proven that even something as harmless as buttons on a jumper or a teapot can be enchanted to try and kill you if done by the right mage.

One of his fears he does have though is one around undead beings like ghosts or zombies. It's not because of the danger they can be but it's more that he is more scared of the thought of what it is like to be one of those sorts of things. He finds zombies and ghouls "kind of very icky" and being a ghost just stuck haunting one little bit of area extremely boring. Now that ghoul stuff seemed a little irrational for a while but still something possible. But with the plague at the battle for Lordaeron and then that recent thing with the grain sacks and zombies it has sort of reignited his fear in that.
